Limitations of Abortions: MN

The state of Minnesota is limiting the reproductive rights of minors by requiring them to receive parental notification or a judicial bypass in order to obtain an abortion. Currently in the state of Minnesota the only options for requesting an abortion are by receiving either a parental notification or a judicial bypass; neither of which are in the best interests of a teenager. Legislation should be passed in order to grant minors between the ages of fifteen and seventeen a third option to obtain an abortion. Teenagers should be able to receive permission from their physician’s in order to obtain an abortion.
